Some of your most common questions

Below is a round up of common questions asked by our community.

Can I take black cohosh or wild yam to balance my hormones?

These can help with symptom management but if you are looking for long term management and to prevent potential disease later in life there are no true alternatives that will work like hormones.

Perimenopause and menopause are not an ashwagandha or wild yam deficiency.

Can I just do menopause naturally?

There is no one way to do menopause. Ultimately it depends on your goals. Keep in mind the lifespan for women is 79 yrs old. Only you can decide how you want to age.

I don't have any symptoms, do I need HRT?

You may not be experiencing symptoms but that doesn't mean things aren't changing below the surface like cognitive, bone and cardiovascular changes.

I am overwhelmed with what do in perimenopause, where do I start?

Start anywhere and build up from there. Ask yourself what are your challenges. Remember: this is a marathon, not a sprint.

Managing perimenopause or menopause symptoms can feel like A LOT ~ it's an unavoidable fact that we must do things differently if we want to avoid decline.

After menopause, when our hormones are at rock bottom, the default setting for our lives is decline.
